From the urban area to the countryside, the long horizon of the later gradually
replaces the vertical lines of the buildings along the way. I brought this
experience into an abandon roofless cement bungalow in Tu-Go. By
building proportional stairs under the walls on two sides of the house, the
audience are allowed to go upstairs and get close to the space's remaining “lines.” I
inlaid trapezoid mirrors under the walls across each other. The left and right
mirrors extend the area infinitely so that the abandoned farmhouse has no other
purposes, only remains to learn how to live in the idle countryside. It then
leads to a question: How does the kinetic energy in the community development
continue to exist between foreign and local, leaving and staying circumstances?
